Colorado Ag Water Alliance Releases Conservation Brochure

The Colorado Ag Water Alliance has released a new publication entitled,

Can agricultural water conservation and efficiency provide the water needed for Colorado’s future?

The publication is an educational guide to complex water concepts as much as it is a Q&A on conservation and its limits. The guide answers questions such as “What is return flow?” and explains to the reader why water cannot be transferred to other uses by individual users.

The guide was made possible by a grant from the Colorado Water Conservation Board and was compiled by MaryLou Smith of Aqua Engineering Inc.

This brochure needs to be read by everyone in Colorado who is concerned about the state’s water needs.
